Education Without Walls. Business Without Limits. Childhood Without Separation.

The World Is Our Classroom...

Welcome to the Wandering Homeschool

The Wandering School is our real-world homeschool journey - where business meetings become field trips, travel becomes curriculum, and entrepreneurship is apart of the lesson plan.

All Who Wander Are Not Lost....

The Wandering Homeschool is our homeschool/ worldschool philosophy. It's built on three pillars:

  1. Real-World Learning

    • Math at the store

    • Reading through exposure

    • Confidence through conversation

      2. Exposure Over Isolation

He learns how adults and money moves...

    • How businesses operate

    • How money flows

    • How problems get solved

  1. Entrepreneurial Thinking

We don't just ask, "What do you want to be?"

We ask, "What do you want to build"

And no, it's not all business all the time; a big portion of his curriculum is movement. He is a very active tiny human, and we spend a lot of time outdoors at parks and play areas. He also has monthly memberships to FECs like Chuck E. Cheese and trampoline parks. Additionally, he is enrolled in Warrior, karate, and gymnastics classes.

Our Mission

To raise capable, confident, independent thinkers who:

  • Understand ownership

  • Respect work

  • Create opportunity

  • Move with integrity

The Wandering school isn't about perfection. It's about preparation.

A Different Model of Education

The Wandering School prepares children for:

  • Ownership

  • Mobility

  • Creative problem solving

  • Leadership

  • Interdependence

  • Financial Intelligence

We combine: Structured literacy learning, Real-world business exposure, Physical movement, Travel-based education, Cultural immersion and Entrepreneurial modeling to make a limitless mindset.

Our Classroom has no ceiling!

About Me

I'm a homeschooling mom, entrepreneur, and builder of multiple businesses. Instead of separating motherhood and business - I merge them. My son doesn't stay home all the time while I "go to work." He comes with me, and in coming with me he sees:

  • Client Meetings and Property Tours

  • Networking Events and Planning Sessions

  • Branding Shoots and Community Events

  • Travel and Adventure and Cultural Immersion

Because education isn't just worksheets,

It's exposure!

Some people ask:

"Why don't you just get childcare?"

Because this is the lesson.

When he sits quietly in a meeting, he's learning discipline.

When he hears negotiation, he's learning communication.

When he helps pack orders, he's learning systems.

When he watches me pivot, he's learning resilience.

He's not in the way, He's in training!

Hi, I'm Ebonie!

Us taking our first flight (he was 4).

I used to drive trucks and he has touched 32 states before the age 3 but that was for work...I homeschool so that he can experience them for education and fun!

One of my favorite phrases about homeschooling is: When he's learning about greek mythology we'll be in Greece, When he learns about our ancestors we'll be in Africa. We will immerse ourselves in our lessons and in the culture!

A Legacy Perspective

History shows us that children who are exposed to enterprise early often grow into confident builders.

Marjorie Merriweather Post, heiress to the Post cereal fortune, grew up inside her father’s expanding business. She didn’t just inherit wealth — she understood it. She later transformed the company into what became General Foods and built one of the most iconic business legacies of her time.

She wasn’t raised separate from enterprise.

She was raised inside of it.

Many industrial families, innovators, and founders brought their children into the rhythm of building — not as spectators, but as observers and future stewards.

Exposure shapes capacity.

When children witness creation, negotiation, leadership, and resilience up close, it normalizes ownership.

The Wandering School isn’t about creating child CEOs.

It’s about raising children who understand systems.

It's Pro- Option...

Some families thrive in traditional systems. Some need something different. The Wandering School exists for the ones asking:

"What if there's more?"

This isn't Anti- School.

For the Homeschool Curious...

Maybe you’ve thought about homeschooling.

But then the questions come:

• How would I afford it?

• I have to work.

• I don’t know where to start.

• What about socialization?

• What about curriculum?

• What about structure?

• What about me?

Let’s be honest.

For many families, homeschooling isn’t about desire.

It’s about economics.

Most parents can’t be present because their income requires physical separation.

But what if:

• Your business supported your life instead of controlling it?

• Your income wasn’t dependent on clocking in?

• Your skillset could be monetized?

• You could architect your own brand?

• You could build assets instead of trading time?

Would you homeschool then?
